THE SCREENING PROCESS

 

Our employment background screening process follows these steps:

 

  1. Applicant signs an FCRA compliant release form, authorizing screening

  2. Employer maintains release form and inputs applicant data in web-based ordering system and selects searches to conduct

  3. Search requests are immediately transmitted to the applicable court researcher or provider to complete

  4. Results are completed and entered into online system by court researcher or provider

  5. Search results are reviewed by Ekeholm for quality assurance in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws before returning report

  6. Full report returned to Employer, usually within 1-3 business days

  7. Employer evaluates report and/or provides applicant the report and required Adverse Action Notices, as required by law
